About Us

Allan and his wife Loralei started Celtic Landscapes in Pastel  in the United States in 2004.  Allan previously had showed his artwork throughout Scotland and mainly at the famed Edinburgh Arts Festival.

Allan studied at the renowned Glasgow School of Art.  www.gsa.ac.uk  The Glasgow School of Art is internationally recognized as one of Britain's foremost higher education institutions for the study and advancement of fine art, design and architecture.  One of their most famous alum is Charles Rennie Mackintosh, who had a design philosophy solidly rooted in Scottish tradition, yet took that foundation and was a leader in the art nouveau movement as well as the British Arts and Crafts style. Other graduates of the school started what is now known as the Scottish Colorist movement.  Allan takes this style and mixes his impressions of the land and sea to create his images of Scotland and Ireland.  He has much demand to take this style and interpret one of his favorite past times...golf.
